Reusable Pour-Over Coffee Filter Cone is used for replacing paper filters in pour-over brewers with a double-layer stainless cone that passes coffee oils but holds back grounds. 2004 food contact is the reference cited for it on drawings, datasheets and purchase orders.
What 2004 food contact Means for Reusable Pour-Over Coffee Filter Cone
The dimensions in the table below are supplied to suit 2004 food contact. Where the standard sets requirements for the finished appliance, device or system, compliance testing of that assembly stays with its manufacturer; we supply the metal mesh part to the drawing and can provide material certificates and dimensional reports with the shipment.

Specifying Reusable Pour-Over Coffee Filter Cone Beyond the Standard
- Cone size: Match the top diameter and height to the dripper — 01, 02 and 03 cones are not interchangeable.
- Inner mesh: A 74 µm inner layer gives a clean cup; 100 µm etched sheet brews faster with more body and fines.
- Rim & grip: Specify a rolled SS304 rim for free-standing use or a silicone grip ring for mug-top brewing.
When Reusable Pour-Over Coffee Filter Cone Is Not the Right Choice
Not for anyone who wants a completely sediment-free, oil-free cup — paper removes more cafestol and fines than any metal mesh.
